Storm Runner Off-Ride at Hersheypark

Storm Runner is a hydraulic launch roller coaster that opened in 2004 at Hersheypark in Hershey PA. The coaster rockets from 0 to 72 mph in 2 seconds, one of the fastest accelerations in the world! Following that is a 150 ft tall top hat and a 180 ft vertical drop, where riders experience the top speed of 75 mph. Unique and intense elements follow: a 135 ft tall cobra loop, a heartline roll leading into a flying snake dive, and a trick-track incline, all along 2,600 ft in approx. 50-sceonds.
