q: where can i reach out to you to get my beats a: on instagram @oplmgican or telegram / SoundCloud dms (I give more info below) or in the comments but some comments get filtered q: do i get to choose the beat a: no, cause it gets hard for me to keep track of things, but i wont give you a bad beat, itll be what i think you'll make the best song on q: how long will it take to get my beat a: depends on when you upload the song, and also the type of beat i envision you on. if i have one of those beats available then youll get it quickly if not it can take up to i think 7 days i should make ur beat especially if i am missing something i want i need to either find a solution irl or online like a sound or a plugin or an effect or a guitar q: how will i recieve my beats a: mediafire or email, ideally media fire. its very easy to use and you dont need to sign up to download just click a few buttons, even on phone you can use media fire no download of app, but to recieve link ill either dm you through soundcloud or even easier is through instagram or telegram q: why do you do this? a: i enjoy making music is primary reason, if I didn’t like making beats I wouldn’t do it. Now when I give them away is because I really like to collab with people and hear how they make my beats into full songs. I make a lot of things, a lot of it by myself, but the reason I learned how to do everything is because I didn’t have anyone to make music with, initially I only wanted to make beats, I’m glad that I learned how to do everything myself, but I enjoy making beats more than vocals, and if I am not going to use them, I don’t get any fun out of sitting on the beats so if I can help someone else have fun it doesn’t cost me anything q: what do you use to make music a: everything, I’ve been making music for 4ish years now and have practically tried everything. A helpful answer is: For drums I have no irl drums, I use drum kits and then either do midi or play my keyboard For guitar: I have a single acoustic guitar but access to others occasionally, though I don’t like loud noises so if something is loud or distorted it’s done in effects where I can control distortion , I sometimes use plug-ins and I use a whole lot of effects, I didn’t start in indie music so applying unconventional effects in indie music can help get unique sounds. For software: I use fl studio, GarageBand, and BandLab, all consistently and often times all for a single beat especially my good ones (what I think are good ones) For non indie beats, I make a lot of sounds through scripts I’ve written myself actually, but these ones usually I myself use for my own music because they are very experimental sounds, not in a bad way but I make ahead of time knowing is this going to be a collab beat or a me beat and I only do this thing on me beats because it’s a lot of effort.
