[email protected] *Updated 04-05-2022: EF1 Tornado Confirmed The day after powerful storms blasted across Central PA, the community of Lairdsville is coming together to clean up trees, roofs, walls and barns. Other communities are helping with extra hands and providing food for residents still without power. The local elementary school is providing free Wi-Fi for residents and the local tavern opened up to provide warmth, running water and a place to eat. Power is slowing being restored as crews replace numerous broken power poles and downed lines. Numerous trees were damaged and destroyed and are being cleared up from strees and yards. Over two dozen homes in Lairdsville have roof damage with another dozen or so barns completely destroyed.
