Syrian rebels say they have launched a major assault on government-held parts of Aleppo. This is the first big push to regain ground after major losses last week when the Syrian army and its allies tightened their siege on opposition-held parts of the city. More than 250,000 civilians still live in Aleppo's opposition-controlled eastern neighbourhoods, effectively under siege since early July. Al Jazeera Arabic’s Milad Fadel, who is embedded with Syrian rebels, reports from Aleppo.
