The Lumix S1 II is a Beast… Until It Overheats (FX3 Owner Review)

I picked up the Lumix S1II to test something new. I already shoot with the Sony FX3 and A1, but the S1II had some features that got me curious. Full anamorphic support, internal ProRes, open gate recording… it looked like a filmmaker’s dream. But after running a few overheating tests, that dream started to fall apart. In this video I’ll show you why I wanted this camera in my kit, the modes I tested, how it handled outdoor temps, and why I probably won’t use it for any professional work. It’s not a bad camera.
