Nioh 2 is a 2020 action rpg that had a 2021 remaster for the modern console generation. The game serves both as a prequel and sequel to 2017's Nioh. In the game you can create your own character who once was a yōkai spirit, nicknamed Hide. You journey through Japan in the late 1500's to play a critical role in the rise and fall of warlord Toyotomi Hideyoshi. Kashin Koji is linked to a powerful yōkai known as Otakemaru, and he serves as the main antagonist of the game as he is responsible for manipulating the main events of the game.
