US Secretary of State John Kerry has been greeted by Lithuanian officials upon his arrival in Vilnius, where he will seek to rally support over the weekend for military strikes against Syria after a G20 summit in Moscow failed to resolve a bitter rift between Washington and Moscow. Kerry has claimed 'there is no doubt' that the Syrian regime headed by President Bashar al-Assad is responsible for the use chemical weapons, which killed thousands in an attack on August 21 near Damascus. Kremlin officials say they have not seen any proof to back up the charges. President Barak Obama is expected to address the issue next week in a highly anticipated speech marking the 12th anniversary of the September 11 attack on the twin tower buildings in NYC. The attack was organised and executed by al Qaeda terrorists, who are today fighting against Assad in Syria and likely to benefit from any foreign military action against Assad.
