Theorem 3: Parallel lines intercept arcs equal in degrees. Theorem 4: An angle formed by a tangent and a chord is 1/2 of its intercepted arc. Theorem 5: An angle formed by two intersecting chords is equal to 1/2 the sum of the intercepted arcs.
