Okay then, let's get this over with. I let Mickey come back for the final room after he had to take that "break" as a punishment for having perched himself on top of the box with all that money in it when I fired the cork to break it. Well, really, coins would have no function, since Clarabelle's "general store" of generally overpriced or unnecessary crap made its appearance nearer the beginning of the stage. So he gets to be around for the whole thing...if he had made it to that room and THEN gotten himself taken out, he'd have to leave the rest to me. Actually, that brings me to an interesting thought...since you clearly can play this game single-player style and are allowed free choice of player character, and Minnie clearly does have dialogue written for her...how come just because Mickey's around they let him take the lead? I mean, he's P2, is he not? I guess it's easier to write the "Mickey and Minnie" scenario dialogue once and not bother having it go both ways, regardless of player order. At any rate, Pete's huge for some reason...I guess the painting boss wasn't scaled up at all...but when did he learn magic? For that matter, why am I not allowed to jump on his hat, when clearly the horns are only on the sides? Never mind the fact that shooting him in the face will still damage the helmet until it's gone. Personally I'm more surprised that there's apparently no "flinch" time where Pete becomes immune to further attacks to prevent you from abusing his head's apparent natural bounciness. Oh well, we'll just count the whole boss fight as another thing to throw on the list of Great Mysteries around here. I don't know about any of you out there, but I sure tend to forget about the ball of extreme significance I'm holding with both hands just because I had to talk to somebody...I'm glad Mickey can tell it like it is. I just can't think of a better thumbnail for the video than that precise moment. Also, if he holds it like any other object in this game but throws it like THAT without any apparent change in the motions, he's really been holding out on us! Let's all go home now, in the bus that will take us off this floating island...but instead we'll stop off at the circus and make a really corny joke before staring at the strange floating letters "THE END" in the sky. I sure hope they manage to get home all right. Hey, wait, wait, wait...there was a bus route to the baron's castle this whole time?!
