How To Turn Off Send Read Receipts On Your iPhone In this quick tech how-to video, I’m going to show you how to turn on or off the Send Read Receipts option on your iPhone. In your Messages app on your iPhone, the default setting has send receipts turned on. This will notify the recipient of your message when you receive and read a text. To turn this option off, head to Settings. Here, scroll down and select Messages. On this page, you’ll see Send Read Receipts, along with a toggle on the right.
