From her first apparition on May 13, 1917, Our Lady of Fatima revealed the power of the Holy Rosary in her message to three shepherd children. On that occasion, Lucia asked if she and Jacinta would go to Heaven. The Virgin told them yes, but when she asked about Francisco, the Mother of God replied: “He will also go, but he must pray many Rosaries first.” Our Lady of Fatima opened her hands and showed the three children a very intense divine light. The children fell to their knees and praised the Holy Trinity and the Blessed Sacrament. Then Mary said: “Pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace in the world and the end of the war.” In the second apparition, the Virgin Mary appeared to them after they had prayed the Holy Rosary, and on the third occasion, Our Lady told them: “When you pray the Rosary, say after each mystery: ‘My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to Heaven, especially those most in need of your mercy.’” By the fourth apparition, many already knew about the Virgin's apparitions to the shepherd children. Jacinta then asked the Mother of God what she wanted done with the money people left at Cova da Iria. Mary told them that the money was for the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and that whatever remained was for a chapel that needed to be built. Later, looking very sad, the Virgin told them: “Pray, pray a lot and make sacrifices for sinners, because many souls go to hell for lack of anyone to sacrifice and pray for them.” On the day of the fifth apparition, the children arrived at Cova da Iria with difficulty, as many people approached them asking them to present their needs to Our Lady. The shepherd children began to pray the Rosary with the people, and the Virgin, appearing to them, again encouraged the children to continue praying this prayer to bring about the end of the war. In the last apparition, before the famous miracle of the sun, in which the sun appeared to detach itself from the sky and fall upon the crowd, the Mother of God asked that a chapel be built in her honor on that spot and presented herself as Our Lady of the Rosary. Later, with a more somber expression, she said, “Let God Our Lord not be offended any more, for He is already greatly offended.” This occurred on October 13, 1917. #ROSARIESANDCATHOLICPRAYERS https://www.aciprensa.com/noticias/el...
