YouTube Upload Problem and Workaround

Sometime after the evening of March 15, 2012 my YouTube uploader began malfunctioning. The symtoms are that I can click "Upload" and then choose a video but I no longer receive the fields to enter video description, etc. I have found a workaround and wanted to share with all other YouTubers, that might be encountering this issue too. Hopefully Google will resolve this issue soon but in the interim hopefully the workaround that I have discovered will be of value.
