#jaimievernon #coneyisland #canadiannationalexhibition Though it never made the final cut, this song was originally on the short-list to be included in the Amy Nicholson documentary "Last Day of the Zipper" about the last ride to leave Coney Island. 'Turning Upside Down' was originally a demo I made about 1989. Years later I used the melody line for my hit tune "I Am A TV Show" (2003). But the filmmaker really liked the demo so I took the parts, re-wrote the words and re-recorded it with Brian Gagnon in 2007. The film footage is me at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto circa 1969/1970. The footage is pretty rough for the first 25 seconds....but it's cute after that. http://www.gwntertainment.wixsite.com...
