I have tried to assemble a few recipes for you which are easy and fast to make with simple ingredients available at home hope these recipes will help you and if you like it please comment in the box down and I can make some more videos for you RECIPE 1 - SCRAMBLED BREAD Totally vegetarian fast cooking- made with leftover bread pieces Ingredients 4 bread slices 1-1/2 tbsp cooking oil One medium chopped onion 1 medium tomato chopped 4-5 garlic flakes finely chopped 2 green chillies finely chopped Salt to taste Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp 1/2 tsp Garlic chilli paste 1-1/2 tbsp ketchup Coriander leaves to garnish Method In a kadai add one and half tablespoon cooking oil. Add chopped garlic, green chillies onion ,tomato .add salt, black pepper ,tomato ketchup, chilli garlic paste. Add one fourth Cup water Stir well add bread pieces to eat .mix it well nd serve hot by garnishing coriander leaves over it RECIPE 2 - POHA who does not love poha which is so light on stomach and is all time snack whether breakfast ,evening snack, dinner or any time you want to have something healthy smart and fast to cook recipe Portions- 3-4 persons Ingredients 1-1/2 cup thick poha 2 tbsp cooking oil 1 medium onion finely chopped 1 small potato- finely chopped 1 lemon 4-5 curry leaves 2 green chillies finely chopped 1/2 tsp small mustard seeds(rai) 1/2 tsp coriander powder 1/2 tsp turmeric powder 1/2-3/4 tsp salt or to taste 1 tsp sugar Coriander leaves to garnish Method Soak poha in water for 2-3 minutes, strain and add lemon juice In a kadhai/pan add rai,let it pop,add green chillies, curry leaves,onion, potatoes, stir well till potatoes r tender. Add salt, turmeric, coriander powder, now add poha, sugar. Mix well. Transfer in bowl. Garnish with roasted peanuts,mota sev (optional)coriander leaves,lemon juice,chaat masala and serve hot RECIPE 3 - MULTIGRAIN CHILLA The healthiest and the simplest thing you could ever think of in this lockdown scenario Portion- 6-7 chilla Ingredients 1cup suji (semolina) 1/3 cup wheat flour 1/4 cup besan 1 carrot grated 1 small onion finely chopped 2green chilli finely chopped 1/2 cup dahi (curd) 2 cups water salt to taste coriander leaves and kasuri methi( optional) *****You can add oats and grains of your choice also in the batter,as also u can add vegetables of your choice Method Mix all the ingredients in a bowl ,add water. let the better rest for half an hour. add some more water if the batter gets thick to bring it to a smooth consistency. Now heat Pan Or tawa .oil the tawa .spread some batter on it .fry it on both the sides. serve it hot with ketchup /cheese spread /pickles/ jam/sauces of your choice RECIPE 4 - MOONG CHILKA BHAAT In this lock down period when we are short of essential items just prepare a very simple dish with minimum ingredients Portions- 4 persons Ingredients 1 cup rice 1/3 cup moong chilka (green)Dal 2 green chillies chopped 1 tbsp desi ghee/butter 1/2 tsp jeera(cumin seeds) Salt to taste 700 ml water Method Soak rice Nd Dal in water for 1/2 hour In pressure cooker add desi ghee or butter,add jeera(cumin seeds), green chillies, add soaked rice and Dal,add water . Pressure cook -one whistle then 5 minutes low flame. Serve hot with curd or as per your liking
