I'm not gonna write a full, polished review here because I'm very tired, have things to do, and wanna get this video out before Christmas ends. I'll just briefly write my thoughts here and maybe polish this up another day. Also, the level has been updated since I beat it, fixing issues such as how the blue guys at the bottom of GDSkele's part were missing. I was invited to this megacollab by zephlin two weeks ago. I knew it wouldn't be hard to build for, so I decided to pick it up despite my lack of time. Besides, I couldn't turn down the offer of being in a fish-themed remake of MLChristmas by Ggb0y. The part I built is the one at 0:34, or 40%. The gameplay is very similar to that of the original level, although here it's harder and has an extension to utilize the full song. I don't really have any gameplay complaints, although the transition at 46% felt very awkward and inconsistent at first before I realized I just had to stay in the middle of the screen. After that, everything was fun. Deco-wise, most of the parts are either inspired by the visuals of the original level or by MLG edits from the 2010s. Almost all the parts also have fish in them, and while inconsistency in style and intensity is definitely present in this level, I'd say most parts handle it pretty well. In general, I think some level of inconsistency is important to help keep the level interesting and the parts memorable. That being said, some parts feel a bit lacking in either detail, intensity, or both, with the wave at 46% and especially the cube at 52% being the most notable examples of this. The first two tokens in this level are tricky but not too hard. I can see the second one being annoying on mobile, but it was fine for me on PC. The third token, however, is very difficult and inconsistent. It's the reason I spent so long beating this level, but the fun gameplay and unserious nature of the level kept it enjoyable. Overall, this is a silly remake of MLChristmas that isn't meant to be taken very seriously, and I recommend it to anyone who can beat Medium Demons. It doesn't have a Newgrounds replacement at the time of writing this, but once it gets one, which someone is currently making, I hope this can be featured. Or perhaps is it just a short extreme challenge containing the world's hardest jump and some epic spam with an impossible wave to World's Smallest Violin? Maybe it's a visual spectacle like Skeletal Shenanigans or Backbeat Revenge, two impressive mythic event levels from 2.207. Or maybe it's as flashy as iSpyWithMyLittleEye by Voxicat, or maybe it's as cute and charming as Unzor's Sunshine and Moonlight. Is it harder than Nine Circles or Bloodbath? Does it mean that Geometry Dash is the hardest game in the world? Does it have an insane swag route or a secret way? Is it the easiest level in the game for free stars and a free demon? Does KOCMOC UNLEASHED have a chance against this shader usage? Does it have the mind-blowing, legendary 3D effects of Aperture? Does it have a boss fight like Crazy time? Is it dedicated to players such as Fernanfloo, Zoink (verifier of Tidal Wave), Vit12 (creator of ORDINARY and Daily Dose of Geometry Dash), and EricVanWilderman (EVW)? Maybe it blows Rage Quit by Bli and Dead Device by IMOXI out of the water. It can potentially cause some epic fails and best rage moments of Geometry Dash 2.2! Is it an easy level BUFFED like Stereo Extremeness and Time Extreme by Vortrox and more, or is it unnerfed like Silent Clubstep and Sakupen Circles? Does it have the shining crystals of Amethyst?
