Press Conference: Curbing Reckless ATV & Dirt Bike Operations

Council President Shannon G. Hardin and Councilmember Mitchell J. Brown joined Columbus Police Chief Elaine Bryant and law enforcement leaders in Central Ohio to discuss coordinated efforts to discourage continued reckless use of ATVs and dirt bikes in neighborhoods across the region. Councilmembers have heard from many residents across the City to come up with solutions to this growing problem. The strategies announced will be a step in the direction of addressing the issue. The Columbus Division of Police has also reported over 700 calls for service in response to these reckless activities.
