Nike has launched a hijab for Muslim women athletes called the Nike Pro Hijab. They took the inputs of athletes to make the product and it was tested by figure skater Zahra Lari. The pull-on hijab is made of light, stretchy fabric that includes tiny holes for breathing comfort. It also has an elongated back so it will not come untucked. It is available in three colours and will be on sale next year. In 2016, fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad of New York became the first Muslim American woman to compete for the United States wearing a hijab at the Olympics. She earned a bronze medal at the Rio Games.
