Republican Senator Rick Scott from the state of Florida tweeted out on Monday that maybe it's time we start thinking about the 25th amendment for Joe Biden. Here is what Scott, who happens to be the chair of the Senate GOP campaign arm, in spite of the fact that he's only been in office for two years, here's what he tweeted. We must confront a serious question. Is Joe Biden capable of discharging the duties of his office, or has time come to exercise the provisions of the 25th amendment? Similarly, Marjorie Taylor Greene in an interview with Steve Bannon over the weekend said that she is already having her staff draft up articles of impeachment over Biden's Afghanistan decision. And that of course is what Rick Scott is referring to as well. And as I predicted, this is going to be the talking point from now until eternity, eternity, of course, being the midterms. Republicans are going to do everything they possibly can to try to frame Afghanistan as a uniquely Joe Biden failure, a failure that in their minds warrants his removal from office. Wow. You just can't make this stuff up, folks. This is absolute utter insanity coming from these idiotic Republicans, from these desperate Republicans. That's what they are. They are desperate to try to pin this as some kind of failure of Biden, instead of acknowledging Donald Trump's failure with his little peace deal that he negotiated with the Taliban that resulted in the release of countless Taliban prisoners, and completely excluded the Afghan government. So of course, as soon as the US left, the Taliban moved in, because that wasn't part of the agreement. They never agreed to not attack the Afghanistan government. So yeah, lot of blame you can lay at the feet of Donald Trump. A lot of blame you can lay at the feet of Obama and most of the blame of course needs to go at the feet of George W. Bush. And I'm not saying that Joe Biden's without blame, but I am saying that his decision to withdraw the troops was the correct decision because what we're witnessing happening today would have happened at any other point during this 20 year trillion dollar war. This was inevitable and if we send more troops back over there, we're just going to delay the inevitable again, because when we finally pull back out, this is gonna happen again. Until then we are going to have to continue to listen to these idiotic talking points from people like Rick Scott and Marjorie Taylor Greene. They're going to continue to push the fact that Biden is incapable of keeping the United States safe. Look at all of these failures that he and he alone is responsible for. I have said many times that there are plenty of reasons to criticize Joe Biden, but right now, his decision to pull us troops out of Afghanistan, that's not a good reason. He did the right thing. Yes, bad things happened as a result of it, bad things have been happening for 20 years because of our stupid decisions with regard to foreign policy here in the United States. This would have happened if Trump pulled them out or if Obama had, or hell, even if Bush had. This was basically inevitable. It just so happens that Biden's the one that finally flipped the switch causing all this chaos, the Taliban takeover. But again, he didn't set the stage for this. He went along with it, sure, during the Obama administration.
