Welcome to Part 1 of my Resident Evil 2 Remake playthrough, starting from a brand-new game as Claire Redfield, using the Claire Katz mod for her character model. Claire’s search for her brother Chris takes a terrifying turn when she arrives in Raccoon City, only to find the streets completely overrun. After a close call at a gas station, Leon S. Kennedy steps in and saves Claire, helping her survive her first real encounter with the infected. The two decide to stick together and make their way through the city, believing the Raccoon Police Department might still be safe. Their hope doesn’t last long. While trying to enter the station, Claire and Leon are suddenly separated, forcing Claire to push forward alone into the dark, abandoned halls of the RPD. Inside, the situation is even worse than expected — the station is crawling with the undead, supplies are scarce, and escape routes are limited. Claire is rescued inside the police station by Marvin Branagh, one of the last surviving officers, who helps her get her bearings and explains what’s happened to the city. From there, Claire begins exploring the station, solving early puzzles, and learning how to survive with limited ammo and healing items.
