Retribution, but every other beat is missing

This time, can Retribution, the track from Undertale Yellow, be ruined by cutting out beats 2 and 4 entirely? I used an online tool to remove the beats: https://beatmachine.branchpanic.me/ These songs can be viewed as prototypes of what Retribution could sound like with these wacky changes. A larger creator with more time and money could definitely build off these concepts and produce grand remixes.
