HOW TO FROST A CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE GANACHE (sharp edges), (with cake and ganache recipes). On my journey to baking I had to try making chocolate ganache. I used the same vanilla and simple chocolate cake recipe for the cake. I found simple recipes for the chocolate ganache and learned that there is few ratios I can use for ganache. 1:1, 1:2 or 2:1. More in my video. It is good to use dark chocolate and 33% double cream for the ganache, except when you are making white ganache when you would us white chocolate with 1:1/3 ratio. This video is made for everyone who is thinking to start baking, but are worried that baking is too difficult and think that baking is for experienced bakers only. I watched many of the amazing cake decorating videos and made new year resolutions to learn and make a perfect cake myself. I wanted to share my journey with everyone, to prove that baking is not only for professional and that we can learn baking through YouTube and through practising. This is my first trial to decorate cake with ganache with sharp edges. I again watched few online tutorials and though this method looks all right.
