Cleveland weather: Beautiful day on tap for Tuesday in Northeast Ohio

Cleveland weather forecast for Monday, July 17, 2023. Scattered showers and storms are possible as we go through the evening. We'll have the latest timing and track on WKYC all evening long. Our air quality concerns continue but will be gone before you know it. The Air Quality Advisory that began yesterday comes to an end late-tonight. Why the change? Well, we work a cold front through NE Ohio this afternoon and evening...that's where the chance for showers and thunderstorms come from. The same front that could trigger unsettled weather will also prompt the wildfire smoke overhead to move somewhere else. In return, our local AQI begins to improve. This front not only has the power to do just that...but it'll also keep temperatures cooler tomorrow. We'll be near 80° for any of your Tuesday plans with mostly sunny skies around. You should also notice the sky won't be as milky white. If things couldn't get any better...drier air moves in behind the cold front. This means that our airmass becomes more tolerable for outdoor activities. Enjoy the lack of humidity because it'll be back in a couple days. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.
