How Historically Accurate Is Band of Brothers?

Band of Brothers is an absolutely fantastic show that showcases the horrors of war in a respectful, yet still entertaining manner. The question remains though: just how close to what really happened is it? The short answer is that it is pretty accurate to the true story. With most of the complaints people level at it being for small details, such as the wrong type of tanks being used by the Germans at the Battle of Carentan.
