In this video we will be seeing what is msq. As given in the year GATE 2021 information brochure organised by IIT Bombay this Gate 2021 paper is consisting of lots of changes regarding to the compared with the previous paper which is Gate 2020 in this Gate 2021 paper they have introduced the concept known as multiple select questions in which the student will be asked to choose any correct answer which is available let's say they'll be having four options for each questions in among those four options they will be having either one correct answer or they will be having two correct answer or they will be having three correct answer or they will be having all four as correct answer in this they'll have to choose any one and what will happen is that if they choose the correct answer let's say the correct answer is option A and B you will have to choose both the options. if not you will not be rewarded correct answer. Lets say you choose just the option A which is also correct, but as far as MSQ is concerned you will not be given marks to it because it is only partially correct. and one more important thing as stated in the information brochure is that there will be no negative marking also to this question, which is a sigh of relief.
