Metra 3-Way Meet At Hinsdale Highlands Metra BNSF Chicago West Service

This kind of caught me by surprise so there is a small amount of jiggle in the clip but this is otherwise very entertaining! Seen are three Metra commuter trains all at the Hinsdale Highlands station in Hinsdale Illinois. This is the busy BNSF three track mainline that is sometimes referred to as "The BNSF Chicago West Line," or BNSF Chicago to Aurora West Line Service." First we get to see an Inbound ( going east to Union Station in the Chicago Loop) pushed by METX # 185 which is a Metra Express. Then we have the Local which stops at the little Highlands Station pulled by METX # 112 the "Morgan Park," and that is a Outbound which will eventually end up in Aurora. Last, comes another Express which is on the center track, Outbound, and it passes the METX # 112 just past the station. This is a fun Metra clip with a lot of action! Irving P.
