A BJP worker has filed complaint against three people — IndiaMART CEO and the co-founder, and a Mathura-based seller — for allegedly selling rocks from Govardhan hill, a site of religious significance to Hindus. Mathura Police registered the FIR under section 295 of the Indian Penal Code and 66D of the IT Act. Govardhan Hill in Mathura is considered sacred as it is believed that Lord Krishna is embodied in the earth of the hill.
