Half a joke mod, half a character-driven mystery narrative, it is an experiment in seeing just how far Deltarune modding could be taken during the 2019-2021 period, retaining Deltarune's familiar locations, while inserting new custom scenes and gameplay mechanics into them. By the way, Lancer is also there, and he's got, like, muscles, just thought you should know that even though everyone is d*ad. Features: Up to 8,000+ rewritten (and expanded on) lines of dialogue. Chapter 1's story has been completely recontextualized with an absurdist, surreal style of writing that aims to carve out its own identity. Heavier emphasis on exploration. Discover many new secrets, abilities, and easter eggs. Depending on your thoroughness, the mod can easily run up to 8, or even 10 hours of content. As the mod was a learning experience, its ambition evolves throughout. What starts off as a series of custom cutscenes and sped up bullet patterns, soon grows into entirely new bullet patterns, minigames, and boss fights. A higher level of challenge, with modified attacks, tougher obstacles, and limited items, inspired by survival horror resource managment. But if you're not into that, there's an easier difficulty setting too! Additional accessibility settings for the photosensitive, hearing impaired, an invincible mode, and two soundtracks to choose from.
