Murder-suicide case in Comstock Township

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - Three people were shot -- two fatally -- in what investigators are calling an apparent murder-suicide. Around 7 p.m. Wednesday, the surviving victim -- 15-year-old Brianna Washington -- came to a Shell gas station and restaurant at 10305 Miller Drive near 35th Street in Comstock Township. She alerted a Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officer who was in the area to perform an inmate exchange, Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller told 24 Hour News 8. Washington was taken to a hospital where she is listed as stable. She was shot in the torso.
