Christmastime, or spring break? Abilenians keep outside and active amid warm winter weather

Growing up in west/central Texas, you get used to Christmas without snow. And as the thermometer continues to break record after record, Christmas 2025 is feeling warmer than ever. Some residents that spoke with KTAB/KRBC saying it feels a little odd to be drinking hot cocoa in 80 degree weather but, they're making the most of their time together, regardless of the degree readout. Nancy Jackson is hosting her children and their families for the holiday. She said the warm weather has been a blessing in disguise this year.
