He eventually moved to Moncton N.B where he spent a majority of his youth. He started full time employment as a roofer at the age of 15. His father owned a company for 20 years, and his grandfather was a master of the trade. M. R Maze, aka Mister Dystopia would also become a master of the trade. He began writing at the age of 17 while living in a band party house in the downtown region of the city. It was the weekly (sometimes daily) parties that inspired the apocalyptic nature of his experience there. Other inspirations for his debut scifi series would include the works of Carl Jung, and general inner reflection. Also black holes. While travelling to Saskatchewan to work the oil rigs he eventually would meet his spouse, whom they would have a daughter in 2014, and a son in 2020. They currently reside in Sackville N.B while travelling to Moncton daily as he continues work as a roofer.
