And it's going to be another tour at Final Fortress, brought to you by Robotnik Ltd.! Dark Arsenal, what I like to say as "the second of Final Fortress in the game". It's neutral in my book and it definetly is longer than it's starter track counterpart and has actually two shortcuts in it. YES, TWO SHORTCUTS. You did not read this wrong or anything. It's real. While they're not the most easily spottable, they sure are effective and can really cut the seconds in Time Trials. One can be found soon after the starting line and later on a bit after half-way of the track it is possible to go for another jump (from another small ramp). If you manage to feel the wind and land on solid ground, gongratulations. The racer is none other, than Opa-Opa. Yes, it's Opa-Opa, from Fantasy Zone! The original was first made for Arcades and it seems to be a scrolling shooter. Opa-Opa is being controlled by the player, fighting nonsensical invader enemies in groups. As for Opa-Opa's stats, it is another character who is NOT affected by roads of any kind. It can fly on any surface in the game. It's Acceleration and Handling are top notch and it's Turbo-Boosts charge very quickly. Speed is what Opa-Opa is lacking, but I guess all that agility makes up for it. It might be tough to control Opa-Opa when performing tricks and such things, because Opa-Opa is using itself clearly. It swings and makesloops and barrel rolls. Don't worry, it's just like as if Sonic jumped out of a car during a track. But it sure confuses at first. Think Opa-Opa is in need to go All-Star? You don't need to ask Opa-Opa twice! The All-Star Move it has is like none other! You get an access to a shop of some kind where you get to choose between three, count, THREE All-Star Moves actually! One offers rows of missiles in rapid fire Second one offers stuff that is basically what Super Sonic is: A simple huge speed boost with invulnerability for a short amount of time. As for the third one, Opa-Opa gets a slight speed boost... and fires missiles that have a huge area of effect. Doesn't sound too shabby for someone so retro, huh?
