The Jaguar XJ220 was ahead of its time when it launched back in 1992. With its twin turbo 3.5L V6, the XJ220 originally produced 542 horsepower, managing to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds, topping out at 220 mph. Only 275 of the initially planned 350 units of the XJ220 were ever built, with production being discontinued in the mid 1990s. The final batch of the original tyres were also manufactured then and ended up at Don Law Racing. In 2017 Bridgestone went on to team up with Don Law Racing to redesign and develop tyres for the iconic British supercar. They formed a team which included the original test driver, the chief of development engineer and the chassis number 004 pre-production model. Subscribe to our page for more content!
