7-7-2021 Jacksonville, FL - Supercell - Tornado Damage

[email protected] In the afternoon hours of 7-7-21, as Tropical Storm Elsa moved through the FL/GA area, a supercell formed in one of the outer bands. This supercell went on to produce a large tornado which did, unfortunately, claim a life. A time-lapse is included as the supercell moved out of the metro area of Jacksonville. Also included is footage from the backside of the storm as it moved away, over and past, Blount Island, FL. Damage is taken from the Heron Walk Apartments on Powers Avenue and damage in the industrial park off Bowden Road. This includes trees down and into apartment buildings, vehicles that were impacted by debris, crews cutting trees with chainsaws, police blockades.
