11Yr Old Sweet Child O Mine - Live in Dubai - Eva Kudwa | Chandresh Kudwa
My 11 year Old daughter Eva Kudwa sang and played the entire Guns N Roses classic ‘Sweet Child O Mine’ at the Dubai Stage Dive Underground Rock Fest at @oaklivebar with the band @pointofview & myself backing her. She had no rehearsal or soundcheck and has had very little experience of playing with a live band. Also, We had traveled to Dubai on the same day in the morning and she got onstage late night at about 130 (which is 3am Ist) She was super tired & sleepy but getting onstage & playing with the band was so exciting that all that did not matter. To top it all, one of the power adapters failed and her wah would just not work. I had to swap my rig with hers onstage at the last moment, which is why you see me switch on the auto wah for her, else she was all prepared to Rock that wah! I stopped playing rhythm in between her solo cos I felt for a moment that my guitar onstage was probably louder than hers. With all this happening she managed to be calm, did not get distracted and kept smiling through the performance and nailed it! An absolute pro at 11 years I’d say!
