Did I just watch the Third Pirates of the Caribbean Movie!? Kingdom Hearts 3 Episode 7

Now that I'm playing this game through again, I'm starting to notice a certain pattern with these Disney worlds and the player interaction with the story. And I don't like it! Anyway, back to the Pirates of the Caribbean world! Would have been kind of nice to have more background info from the second movie! Kind of wondering why the Kraken is still alive if it was supposed to be dead in the third movie? Kind of wondering where the heck the plot is going since we're CLEARLY not involved with it!
