Palak Kadhi Recipe | Healthy Spinach Curry | How to Make Palak Kadhi Without Pakora Are you bored of eating the same old Kadhi Pakora? Or do you want to avoid deep-fried pakoras? 🤔 Today, I'm sharing a super healthy and tasty Palak Kadhi recipe that's prepared without pakoras! �6✨ Watch this video as we make this creamy curry with sour yogurt and simple spices, ready in 20 minutes. It's so tasty that everyone in the house (even the kids!) will be asking for it again and again. 🛒 Saaman (Ingredients) For Kadhi Mixture: 🍃 Palak (Spinach): 250g (Washed & Chopped) 🥣 Besan (Gram Flour): 1/2 Cup (approx. 4.5 tbsp) 🥛 Dahi (Yogurt/Curd): 1 Cup (Sour/Khatta is best!) 💧 Water: 5 Cups (Total used in recipe) 🎨 Haldi Powder (Turmeric): 1 tsp For Cooking & Tempering (Tadka): 🛢️ Sarson Tel (Mustard Oil): 1.5 tsp (Cooking) + 1.5 tbsp (Tadka) 🌿 Jeera (Cumin Seeds): 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp ⚫ Rai (Mustard Seeds): 1/2 tsp + 1/4 tsp 🌶️ Sukhi Lal Mirch (Dry Red Chili): 3 + 2 whole 🍃 Bay Leaf (Tej Patta): 1 🍃 Curry Leaves (Curry Leaves): 10-12 leaves 🧂 Hing (Hing): 2-3 pinches 🧅 Onion (Pyaz): 1 small (finely chopped) - optional 🍅 Tomato (Tamatar): 1 medium (chopped) - optional 🌶️ Kashmiri Red Chili Powder: 1/2 tsp (for color) 🧂 Salt: Swadanusaar (Note: Add at the very end!) 👩🍳 Easy Method (Banaane Ki Aasaan Vidhi) Preparation: First wash and finely chop the spinach. Blend the gram flour and yogurt in a mixer. Cooking: Heat 1.5 teaspoons of oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, red pepper, curry leaves, and bay leaves. Sauté: Add onions and tomatoes and cook until soft. Then add chopped spinach, add the sauce, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Simmer: Now add the gram flour and yogurt mixture and water (total 5 cups). Add turmeric. Secret Tip: Cook the yogurt on low flame for 20-22 minutes. The longer it cooks, the better the flavor! Always add salt at the end. Special Tadka: Top with a tadka of mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves, and Kashmiri chilies and serve hot!
