HOPE IN DEATH (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

HOPE IN DEATH (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Due to the stress of ongoing persecution, and several theological misunderstandings, the Thessalonians are grieving for dear departed saints "as those who have no hope." Paul reminds them of the real realities of Jesus’s second coming: confidence and hope in death; a glorious reunion with fellow Christian brothers and sisters who have died; vindication, and a share in Christ’s triumph; freedom from sin; and complete, never-ending peace in the presence of Christ for ever.
