A small collection of songs supposedly sung in the Barracks with words by Rudyard Kipling. The first song Fuzzy Wuzzy shows Kipling at his jingoistic best vocalising his xenophobic beliefs. Another the Screw Gun, relates how the British Soldier Tommy beat the crap out of anyone who stood against the Empire. The third song exhorts soldiers to lay down their lives without heed for what is going on around. Something that happened in WW1 and Kipling lost his son in such circumstances. The last is a delightful version of The Road to Mandalay. There are many versions and this one is most lyrical.
