VOTE WITH RESPONSIBILITY: GOVERNOR APPEALS CITIZENS ON NATIONAL VOTERS DAY

The Chief Electoral Office (CEO) has organized the National Voters’ Day programme, wherein the Goa Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari appealed voters to ensure that their vote is towards Nation and State building. He also said that voters need to vote with responsibility. Voting should not be based on a religion, caste or community, he also said. Every year, ECI celebrates the national voters' day on January 25, since 2011, to mark its foundation day that is January 25, 1950.
