On this episode of AFAR, we will be reviewing DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS. The game can be found for purchase here: https://store.playstation.com/en-us/p... This game is based on the work "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", written in the 14th century by Luo Guanzhong. This is the 10th entry in the game franchise, and it came out in January of this year. I had a lot of fun playing this game. It's a button mashing good time. It has a great balance between classic and rock music, and the visuals are amazing. While violent, unlike the previous game, it doesn't need to have blood splatter effects when you defeat the opponents. I have played other titles from Koei Tecmo that also involve one character fighting scores of foes all at the same time, and it's great to get back to the franchise that started it all.
