We offer this mystery for world peace: That the leaders of nations may heed the call of Pope John Paul II to forge a peace with justice and forgiveness, so that hatred, desires for revenge, and the thirst for destruction may cease. "Jesus came to them and said, 'Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit...' Then, lifting up his hands, he blessed them. While he was blessing them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven, where he is seated at the right hand of the Father." (Mt 28:18-19; Lk 24:50-51)
