The 80/20 Rule of Evangelism

Many have said that evangelism is as much about listening as it is about talking - but that sentiment doesn't go nearly far enough. In fact, we should be following an 80/20 rule when we're seeking to reach others with the gospel. 80% of conversation (at least) should be engaging in the principles of active listening and 20% (at most) should be sharing our views and ultimately the gospel should the opportunity emerge.
