Someone is watching Emily as she prepares for the big swim meet in the locker room and takes more pain medication. Shana comes up to her to ask for an extra swim cap. She asks Emily why her friends think she was friends with Wilden and Emily tells her she doesn't like to talk before the race. Shana tells Emily that she has her eye on the Stanford scholarship too, and may the best girl win. The presence of Mrs. DiLaurentis in Rosewood continues to unnerve all those around her, especially when she gives Hanna a family parrot, whose gift for mimicry provides startling insight into Alison's last days. Tired of feeling defenseless against "A," Aria decides to learn self-defense and is intrigued by her sexy instructor. Meanwhile, Toby shares a heartbreaking secret with Spencer, and Hanna makes an alarming discovery regarding her mom.
