Returning for his Sophomore season Burke looked to lead his team to a national championship. He indeed led them all the way but fell short against the Louisville Cardinals.. His late game heroics vs the Jayhawks will go down as one of the best shots probably in Michigan history and even in the tournament. Burke swept away all the POY awards and was also named Big Ten Player of the year and was selected unanimously on the Big Ten 1st team. He was also named as an AP All American.. Trey Burke is going to be one of those Michigan players that will never be forgotten.. He now has a very tough choice to make wether to return to Michigan and make another title run or move on to the NBA. Trey Burke Awards..
