The ANC has disbanded it's entire Western Cape leadership. The National Executive Committee - the highest decision making body of the party between conferences - made the decision at the weekend and announced it on Friday. It comes days after a similar resolution on the ANC Youth League leadership. The governing party says it will send representatives from the NEC to the Western Cape to form a plan to restructure the leadership in the province. It says the growing internal disintegration in the Western Cape has played out in public making it difficult for the PEC to discharge it's duties.
