http://screenrant.com/   / screenrant     / screenrant   Hi this is Ryan with Screen Rant’s featured news of the day. Musical composer Hans Zimmer recently lent his talent to Batman VS Superman Dawn of Justice. And now that the film has been released, the composer has announced that he’s decided to stop working on superhero films entirely. In an interview conducted with BBC News - Zimmer explained that lots of people think that his work on The Dark Knight trilogy was just three films-- but to him, that was 11 years of his life. He also said that it’s becoming difficult for him to work in the Superhero genre, saying that on Batman VS Superman, it was very hard for him to try to find new language. Despite being done with the genre, Zimmer believes that filmmakers still have a few superhero movies in them. Zimmer fans don’t have to worry though as this is far from being a retirement from film. The composer is currently working on three films- A Cure for Wellness - Inferno - Dunkirk directed by Christopher Nolan So sorry if you thought he was going to move on from superhero films to a career of scoring cat food commercials.
