Hospital Update: Post-Surgery Setback | July 2021 Recovery
A bit of a different update today—not from the bike, but from a hospital bed. I had my hip operation on July 6th [00:12], but unfortunately, an infection set in a couple of weeks later. I’ve been back in the hospital for a week now [00:43] while they work to get ride of it. They’ve had to reopen the wound and I’m currently hooked up to a machine to help with the healing [01:26]. It’s a bit of a setback, but I’m hoping to be back on my feet (and more imortantly, my bike) soon and might even use this time to catch up on some of the tour videos.
