HPI E10 drift video: Hot Racing Spur gear upgrade!!

Hi RC fans and thank you for tuning in! This video is just a quick video I made when I was at my kids bus stop killing time, I have been bring RCs to the bus stop for a week now and when I got my HPI E10 up and running again I figured the bus stop would be good as any place to test my new set up, The idea for the video is not just to show my new S13 body but also to let people know of the annoying little problem I ran into with this car. See I consider my self a simple man and I like things simple, like 48 and 32 pitch gears. unfortunately Hpi uses a "42 pitch pinion and spur (which may be "Metric 48") so when I switched the stock pinion to a Robinson Racing 48 pitch pinion all hell broke lose!! The car didn't go but 3 feet before making one of the craziest sounds I've ever heard and completely mauling the Plastic stock "42 pitch" spur gear, Now me in my infinite wisdom did not realize at this moment that the gear pitch did not match, I just assumed that I set the gear mesh poorly and planned to cut my loses. So I jumped on ebay and searched E10 METAL spur gear. And what I learned was not only that the E10 pitch was 42 and I was now gonna have a 48 pitch pinion to match my many pinion gears I have, but also that I should more carefully read EVERY page of a RC vehicles instruction manual! But anyhow I hope this video is not only entertaining but I hope it helps people from making the same mistake I made. And save people the headache! On a lighter note I also want to say Congratulations to 2 RC Productions on reaching 500 subs!! That's awesome and I'm stoked for Rich and his family! So congrats brother and cant wait til 1000!!
