This is the full video of the airshow I recorded myself at North Weald in Essex in 1989. Saturday 13th of May in fact. This film includes the content of my previous similarly titled video so it features the Vulcan XH558 display and then the rest of the air show follows that. The displays include Harrier, Tornado, A10 Thunderbolt, F16, Catalina, WWII dogfights and attack on the airfield, various helicopters, a parachute display team, and more. It's quite long at 1 hour and 40 mins, so you may have to have a break half way, after the Harrier maybe. The banter, with very British accents, over the public address, was always interesting at North Weald, with the learned guys describing the aircraft and interesting anecdotes. I rented a full size VHS camcorder from a MultiBroadcast shop in Grays for the weekend to get the best video quality. Those cameras were heavy on the shoulder after a while! I wish I had taken a pair of steps with me to balance on precariously to get a better view over people's heads. Oh well, next time, whenever that might be post COVID19! NOTE: Ok I just published this video and no surprise, 2 copyright claims -for Jose Feliciano and Thelma Houston music! Ridiculous isn't it?! I'm not muting them out as there is likely dialogue on top from the airshow commentators!
