In 1890, Delhi (known as Shahjahanabad at that time) was a historic city located in the northern part of India. It served as the capital of the Mughal Empire until the late 18th century and continued to be an important cultural and political center. During this period, Delhi was known for its architectural marvels, bustling bazaars, and rich cultural heritage. The city was enclosed within massive walls, which were built during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. These walls, known as the Red Fort, were made of red sandstone and contained several magnificent structures within their boundaries.
